Chicago parents and students, how is school without school going?

This is part of a collaboration between Chalkbeat and Block Club Chicago reporting the effect of the coronavirus outbreak on how Chicago students learn and on how educators teach.

Chicago Public Schools offered a first look at its new remote learning plan on Monday, but it stopped short of a full e-learning approach: The city’s digital divide is too steep of a hill to climb in such short notice, leaders said.

In the midst of this chaotic time, Chalkbeat and Block Club Chicago are working to help you keep track of what’s happening. As Chicago moves further into the world of remote learning, we need your help.

We want to hear your experiences through the form below. Thank you for sharing with us.

The COVID-19 outbreak is changing our daily reality

Chalkbeat is a nonprofit newsroom dedicated to providing the information families and educators need, but this kind of work isn't possible without your help.
